Decarbonizing Architecture
The fifth edition of “Decarbonising Architecture” will take place between November 5th and 6th, 2026, in Barcelona , bringing together European institutions, public administrations and architects with the aim of transforming housing and climate policies into real, large-scale projects.
November 5th
Lectures and debates with the participation of Matthew Baldwin (Head of the Housing Task Force, European Commission), Lisa De Visscher (Chief Architect of Brussels), Ciarán Cuffe (Architect and former MEP), Teresa Táboas Veleiro (Secretary General, UIA), Peris + Toral, David Juárez (Straddle3), and Albert Gassull and Josep Maria Borrell (AMB). Other guests to be confirmed.
November 6th
Visits to buildings designed by Lacol, Flores & Prats, Olga Subirós, HARQUITECTES, Straddle3 and Societat Orgànica.
Registration is open and includes free access to the Smart City Expo World Congress.
Programs included in Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture.
